This Parliament ends on 30 March. Between then and the general election on 7 May is the pre-election period and the Civil Service communicates less, in line with the General Election Guidance.
So you won't be hearing much from us in the 5 weeks up to the election, unless it's to provide information essential to continuing the government’s day-to-day work. That applies to @GOVUK on Twitter, this blog, any other Government Digital Service blogs, and social media channels.
That doesn't mean we're not doing anything. Our work will continue through the pre-election period. We just won't be talking about it much in the run-up to the election.
There will however be updates and announcements made as a new government forms. These can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/
While we're on the subject of elections, don't forget to register to vote. You can do it online. It takes about 3 minutes.
